Welcome to the Office of Student Affairs! Archbishop Spalding is a faith based co-educational Catholic Secondary School. This office provides opportunities for students to nurture their faith, personal and social growth through extra-curricular programs and activities. In addition, we provide a safe, disciplined environment, which engenders mutual respect and self-direction through positive example and a well-maintained code of conduct. We also look to foster within each student the development of personal goals, self-esteem, and respect for the values, opinions, and cultures of others.
We currently have 26 Clubs and Activities at Archbishop Spalding. We are continually encouraging students to participate in multiple activities. We feel that it is important for students to get connected the day they step onto our campus. This will ultimately help students be a part of the Spalding Community.
We expect our students to be aware that his/her actions reflect upon his/her reputation and the reputation of the school in the local community. Therefore, we feel that school rules are really “life rules.” When you have a job, you are expected to be there every day. You are expected to be on time, to dress appropriately, and to be courteous to the people around you. You are also expected to give your best effort each day. In school, you are asked to do the same.
“Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation. Your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.” – John Wooden
