FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Acceptance to Archbishop Spalding is distinct from, and does not take into account, the financial situation of an applicant. Families requesting financial assistance apply each year. Applications must be submitted to the School Scholarship Service of Princeton, New Jersey no later than January 7, 2009 for the 2009-2010 academic year (applications were due January 4, 2008 for the 2008-2009 academic year).
Financial need is viewed as “the difference between a family’s resources and the child’s total educational expenses.” The following are taken into consideration: income, assets, the number of dependents, and the number of children enrolled in tuition schools as well as any unusual expenses. A fee is charged by S.S.S. to process an application.
Financial aid forms are available in the President's office or the Admissions office; these should be submitted directly to the School Scholarship Service at the time of application for admission and each subsequent year of attendance.

To complete the process of application for financial assistance a copy of your 2007-2008 federal income tax return must be submitted to the President's office.
