Leadership
Sister Lucidie - Pioneer Scholarship
The first principal of the school now known as Archbishop Spalding High School was Sister Lucidie, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur. When the foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Marie Rose Julie Billiart, was canonized by Pope Paul VI in 1969 he said "We do not create, we do not confer saintliness; we recognize it, we proclaim it!" These scholarships recognize and proclaim the outstanding good works, leadership, and pioneering spirit of students entering grade 9. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY THE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION DEADLINE.
