Parents, alumni and friends often ask how they can support Archbishop Spalding High School's Annual Fund and how their contributions benefit the students. A wide range of giving options with possible tax benefits are available.

Types of Gifts:
Unrestricted Gifts - These funds become part of the annual Spalding operating budget.
Restricted Gifts - Support for a specific scholarship or particular project that has been designated by the school and the donor.
In Memoriam - Gifts made in memory of a someone deceased.
In-Kind - Gifts of real estate, services or personal property.
Methods of Giving:
Cash - May be unrestricted or restricted to special projects as agreed to by the school and the donor. Cash gifts can be made in a single payment, by check or credit card, or pledged with multiple payments throughout the school's fiscal year.
Securities - Appreciated stocks and bonds can be donated to Spalding and may be deducted at full market value on the date of transfer. This allows you to avoid payment of capital gains on the appreciated security. Please contact your broker and Advancement Office for assistance.
Matching Gifts - Obtain matching gift forms from your employer's personnel office to submit with your gift.
Deferred Gifts - Life Insurance, bequests, various trusts or other forms of deferred contributions.
