Library Learning Commons

The mission of the Archbishop Spalding High School Library Media Program is to ensure that all students, faculty, and staff have the skills and opportunity to access, utilize, and evaluate information. The library media program plays a vital role in research, the introduction of new learning technologies, support of the curriculum, and the teaching of information skills so that all students can become independent, lifelong learners.

Opening Fall 2023, the redesigned Library Learning Commons (LLC) is a 5,752-square-foot multi-level facility with private and group learning spaces, comfortable seating, and modern amenities. The LLC hosts a physical collection of 12,000 items and numerous databases and eBooks to serve the educational and recreational reading and information needs of the Spalding Community. Access to the nonprint collection is available through Canvas for students, or the portal for parents.
