The English Department recognizes and provides for the varying degrees of ability, which exist in a diverse student population. Through a sequential developmental curriculum, presented in student-centered classrooms, students are exposed to the cultures, speakers and writers of the world.  The goal of the department is to develop critical thinkers, lifelong learners and skilled communicators prepared to take their places as successful and productive members in the current and future global society.
