Sophomore Orientation
Check-in will begin at 8:45 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center lobby. After check-in, students will enter and sit with their homeroom class. They can locate their homeroom assignments in the portal before attending the Orientation, and we will also give them a copy of their schedules as they arrive. Additional guidance will be offered in the lobby. Please be in proper uniform and be sure to be wearing lanyard/Door Card & Last Years ID. You will receive your new ID after your Sophomore Photos are taken.

In preparation for a successful orientation, here are a few more details to keep in mind:
- Lunch is NOT provided
- Expectations for lanyard/door card: Students are expected to have their door card/lanyard from last year. We will update this door card at check-in and provide a lanyard if needed. Students are expected to wear this as part of the uniform on a daily basis.
- Expectations for dress code and hairstyles: Students are expected to be in Fall/Spring uniform during orientation.
- Student devices: Students will need to bring their devices. Please make sure your student(s) device is updated. If you have not yet done so, please connect to the Spalding Wi-Fi. Any questions about updates, please contact helpdesk@spaldinghs.org.
- Closing: The day will end at 11:30 a.m. We ask that you pick up your student in front of the Performing Arts Center. Parents are encouraged to park in an empty parking space upon arrival.
