Archbishop Spalding co-ed Cross Country Camp is an opportunity for runners aged 10 - 16 to train and cultivate their running skills in a positive, fun, and encouraging environment. Whether a beginner runner or experienced, campers will receive daily instruction and training in the most relevant practices. Campers will spend time in individualized training runs/workouts, games, team building activities, and informative speakers on proper diet, core, and collegiate runner experience. This camp is ideal for any middle school or rising freshman who is contemplating joining the Cross Country team in the fall as it will prepare them to be competitive when the season begins. This camp will be from 8:00am - 11:30am, Monday July 28th thru Thursday July 31st.
Camp Director
The camp is organized and run by Coach Houdek. Coach Houdek is a certified teacher at Archbishop Spalding and is USATF certified. He has 8 years of coaching both Track and Field and Cross Country and a former Division I track and field athlete at Mount St. Mary’s University.
